Before booking your workshop, please review our cancellation policy and consider purchasing travel insurance.

Our Cancellation, Refund and Transfer Policy

 

Our 24-Hour Cancel Policy

Planning a trip to one of our campuses can be complicated. Rest assured you can cancel your workshop application and request a full refund of your deposit payment within 24 hours with no penalty.


MEA Cancellations

In the unlikely event MEA must cancel a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or be offered to transfer your payments to another workshop at no fee. For participants needing to cancel after our 24-hour grace period, our policy is as follows:

Cancellation Fees

MEA understands life events can pop up, making traveling to your planned workshop not possible. Should you need to cancel your attendance to your planned workshop our policy is as follows:
  • 30+ days prior to workshop start date, no refunds or credits available
  • 31-45 days prior to workshop start date, refund minus 50%
  • 46-60 days prior to workshop start date, refund minus 25%
  • 61+ days prior to workshop start date, refund minus 5%

Transfer Fees

Should you need to cancel your original workshop, and wish to retain your payments made, we can accommodate transfer requests to another published workshop, based on availability. One-time transfers must be made within 14 days of cancellation and can be transferred to a friend or family member if you are unable to reschedule yourself. (Note: transfers must be made towards a workshop happening within 12 months of cancellation date)
  • 30+ days prior to workshop start date, no transfers available
  • 31-45 days prior to workshop start date, a $500 transfer fee applies
  • 46-60 days prior to workshop start date, a $250 transfer fee applies
  • 61+ days prior to workshop start date, no transfer fee applies

Passport Check for traveling to our Baja Campus

Mexico requires a valid passport to enter the country. Please check the expiration date of your passport prior to confirming your workshop and ensure it is valid at least 3 months after the duration of your trip.
