Upon Arrival:
- If you reach a closed gate labeled "Service Entrance," do not enter.
- Instead, continue on Hwy 41 toward Galisteo for about one more mile (approximately two to three minutes).
- You will see another gate—this one will be open.
Once inside:
- Follow the road all the way until it dead-ends at Juniper Retreat Center.
- A Guest Service Agent will be there to greet you upon arrival.

Directions to MEA Santa Fe Cottonwood Campus

Upon Arrival:
- If you reach a closed gate labeled "Service Entrance," do not enter.
- Instead, continue on Hwy 41 toward Galisteo for about one more mile (approximately two to three minutes).
- You will see another gate—this one will be open.
Once inside:
- Follow the road (street sign says Cottonwood Run).
- Take your second left onto Galisteo Creek Rd.
- You will see the Cottonwood Retreat Center in front of you.
- Follow the curve of the road into the parking lot.
🛑 Important Note: This is a new road, so your GPS may suggest a different route. Please follow these instructions to arrive at the correct location.

Here are some tips to make your travel to campus smooth:
- Please add your flight details to your Guest Portal and our amazing Hospitality Team will coordinate your shuttle on your behalf. Shuttle rates are per person and will be added onto your final bill. Rates are $75+ tax, one way, per person from SAF or $125+ tax one way, per person from ABQ. Prices are the same regardless of shared or private. Please ensure this is done at least one week prior to your workshop start date.
- If you choose to book transportation through us, Your ground transportation details will be confirmed via email by the end of the day, Friday prior to your workshop start date. Your driver will also reach out to you via text to confirm details and pickup location.
- Tips are very much appreciated, but not expected.

Renting a Car
You DO NOT need a car during your stay with us. But if you choose to rent a car, namely if you are extending your stay in New Mexico before or after your workshop, we strongly recommend Thrifty, Hertz, Budget, or Avis.
Nighttime driving is not recommended, particularly on your first visit. Sunset in winter can be as early as 5:00 pm. Exciting driving challenges include dirt roads, livestock, terrible and non-existing signage and lighting. Luckily, highway 285 nearby will guide you towards Santa Fe in case you need anything at the nearest shops and grocery stores. We will accommodate you the best we can on campus.
